Kohl’s has hired a new Senior EVP and Director of Stores to help improve brick-and-mortar sales and productivity. Fred Hand, who has deep experience with discount and departmentstore brands, is now overseeing the retailer’s 1,100+ stores, store operations and experience, lossprevention and store experience and design functions.
That means asking questions like: What more can be done to deter theft using store layout, customer flow, shelf height, mirrors, lighting and the placement of gondolas, merchandise and security cameras?
